Market Analysis
Evaluation of your station and all competitors in terms of talent,
positioning, imaging, research, strategy, marketing and promotion.
We will devise a team vision and strategy that includes ratings
goals and implementation techniques involving management, talent
and sales.
Station Visits
We'll conduct semi-annual monitors of the market and
meet with the management team. Agendas include competitive analyses,
strategic positioning, talent evaluation, air staff meetings, marketing
and promotion and tactical imaging. A written summary of our discussions
and plan of action would follow all meetings.
Research Design and Interpretation
We participate in the design of research questionnaires,
screeners and strategy for effective respondent recruitment. The
interpretation of the research is critical. Research companies are
experts at gathering and presenting data. A good consultant is an
expert at interpreting that data and bringing a plan on the air
to life.
RLC also designs and moderates focus groups, which are an excellent
tool for getting more in depth information about audience perceptions
of talent.
Marketing Models
Clearly create or re-define models for the marketing, the music,
content and promotions. The models would be dependent on strategy
("Offensive", "Flanking", etc.). The expertise
we offer for effective imaging and stationality are critical components
of every format success.
Weekly Programming Conference Calls
Conduct a weekly conference call to update the station music, evaluate
shows and discuss positioning, marketing, research, etc.
Regular Audio Reviews
Provide a written review of each major daypart as needed for both
local and syndicated talent.
Executive Producer
Write imaging copy on a regular basis. Branding and imaging the
station well is essential to connecting with the target audience.

Arbitron Analysis
RLC captures all your Arbitron data, analyzes it and creates an
action plan based on key indicators from Maximiser, PD Advantage
and examining the diaries or PPM data at Arbitron if necessary.
We will distill the data for you and answer key questions. (For
example, is your TSL issue one of tune-ins or duration?)
Selector and MusicMaster Analysis
Analysis of your music database with specific recommendations on
how to improve performance and better music clock strategies. Whether
you are working in older or newer versions of MusicMaster or Selector,
